Helping develop the next generation
of venture capital leaders

HBCU VENTURE SCOUTING

Historically, Black entrepreneurs have faced VC funding disparities, receiving less than 2% of total funding annually. Additionally, only 4% of US venture capital partners are Black, with Black women comprising a mere 1% of investment partners in 2022, according to a survey by NVCA and Deloitte.

At Nex Cubed, we are dedicated to seeking to address this lack of diversity in VC representation and the insufficient capital deployed to founders from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Through our Venture Scouting program, we work with scouts from diverse backgrounds, helping to empower them with practical knowledge of venture capital and real-world applications.
