HBCU FOUNDERS INITIATIVE
At Nex Cubed, we are driven by the vision of inspiring the pursuit of entrepreneurship and fostering a diverse community of ideas and perspectives, which we believe is not only morally right but also beneficial for business. Our portfolio proudly comprises almost 60% of underrepresented founder-led startups, demonstrating our commitment to helping empower entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds.

Investing in HBCU Founders
In 2020, we proudly launched the HBCU Founder's Initative, reaching out to over 350 students and alumni across 50+ Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) who shared a passion for entrepreneurship. Witnessing the tremendous impact of the first year's success, we established the HBCU Founders Initiative, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting HBCU students and alumni along their entrepreneurial journey. We encourage them to tackle challenges that close the racial wealth gap, addressing crucial issues such as improving access to healthcare, education, and financial services.
As of the beginning of 2022, we have proudly supported over 500 participants from 60+ HBCUs, and the outcomes have been truly remarkable. Collectively, our program participants have raised over $2M for their startups, empowering them to create job opportunities and make a meaningful difference in their communities.
