Introducing the HBCU Founders Accelerator Spring 2025 Cohort

Nex Cubed is excited to welcome the HBCU Founders Accelerator Spring 2025 Cohort!

As we continue our mission to empower underrepresented founders, this latest group of innovators represents the top talent from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) across the nation.

The HBCU Founders Accelerator is built on pairing each founder with a customized curriculum and paid professional advisors to provide tailored support on their entrepreneurial journey. This approach ensures that every founder has access to the tools, resources, and network necessary to take their startup to the next level.

Last week, the Spring 2025 Cohort came together in Washington, D.C. for a two-day kickoff event, where they had the opportunity to connect with their advisors and the broader Nex Cubed community.

In collaboration with our event partners AWS, g/d/n/a, BLCK VC, My Founder’s Keeper (MFK), and The Black Tech Collective, we hosted a kickoff reception bringing together Nex Cubed portfolio companies, investors, fund managers, and other members of the diverse investment ecosystem.

In addition to networking and meeting the Spring 2025 Cohort founders, we assembled an incredible panel of thought leaders for a discussion on leadership and legacy in venture capital and tech. The all-star panel included the following guests:
